These terms apply when you use the ShopLook app or website. By using ShopLook, you agree to them. ShopLook is operated by Allarc Solutions Pvt Ltd, 164, Pocket F-17, Sector-8, Rohini, Delhi 110085, India.
What ShopLook is
ShopLook shows products and services from shops near you, as short videos, and lets you contact those shops by chat, call or WhatsApp. ShopLook does not sell anything itself. There is no ordering, payment or delivery inside the app.
Your account
- You can browse without an account. To chat with shops or save listings, you sign up with your mobile number, which we check with a one-time code.
- Keep your details accurate and your phone secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- You must be 18 or older to create an account or run a shop, and you confirm this when you sign up.
- You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Settings → Delete account. A shop is deleted separately, in Manage Shop → Manage account → Permanently Delete Shop.
Dealing with shops
Any purchase or service is an agreement between you and the shop. Prices, payment, delivery, returns and warranties are agreed with the shop directly. Please check the item, or confirm the details with the shop, before you pay.
If you run a shop
- Your shop name, address, map pin and contact details must be accurate. Your map pin decides which buyers see your listings, so place it at your shop's entrance.
- Every listing needs a video that you own or have permission to use, showing the real product or service.
- Prices must be honest. If you show an MRP, it must be the real MRP.
- Listings go live as soon as you publish them. We may remove or reject a listing later if it breaks these terms.
- Reply to buyers respectfully and use their contact details only to deal with their enquiry.
Your content
- Videos, photos, logos, text and prices you post stay yours. You confirm you own them or have permission to use them.
- By posting them on ShopLook you give Allarc Solutions Pvt Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, for as long as they're on ShopLook, to store, copy, resize, compress and show them in the app and on our website, and to show them in links people share — only to run and promote ShopLook.
- That licence ends when you delete the content, or the shop. Copies already shared by others outside ShopLook, and backups (for up to 30 days), may last a little longer.
What's not allowed
- Illegal, counterfeit, stolen or restricted goods and services.
- Misleading listings, fake prices, or content that isn't yours.
- Harassment, hate, threats, or sexual or violent content.
- Pretending to be another person, shop or brand, or using a shop name, logo or photos you have no right to.
- Spam, scams, or asking for payment in ways meant to cheat buyers.
- Trying to access other accounts or interfere with how ShopLook works.
You also can't list prescription medicines, tobacco or vaping products, alcohol, weapons, or anything else whose sale or advertising is restricted by Indian law.
Reports and removal
You can report shops, listings, offers and chats in the app, and block a shop (or, for a shop, a customer). We review reports and may remove content, hide listings, or suspend or block a shop or account that breaks these terms. When a shop is blocked, its listings are hidden from buyers too.
We act on reports as quickly as we can, and within the times India's IT Rules set. Where we remove content or suspend a shop or account, we'll tell you why, unless the law or someone's safety stops us. If you think we got it wrong, email [email protected] within 30 days with your shop name or phone number; someone who wasn't part of the first decision will look again and reply within 15 days.
Copyright, trademarks and fake products
If a listing uses your video, photos or brand without permission, or sells counterfeit goods under your brand, email [email protected] with: your name and contact details, the work or trademark and proof that it's yours, a link to or screenshot of the listing or shop, and a statement that the information is accurate and you're the owner or allowed to act for them. We'll review it, remove the content where it's justified, and tell the shop. Shops that repeatedly break these rules lose their shop.
Ending your account
- You can delete your account or your shop at any time (see Delete your account). When a shop is deleted, its listings, videos, photos and offers come off ShopLook straight away, and its chats are deleted.
- Your messages in a shop's inbox are deleted with your account.
- We may suspend or close an account or shop that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or when the law requires it. You can ask us to look again as described above.
- What we keep after deletion, and for how long, is in our Privacy policy.
Our responsibility
ShopLook is a platform that connects buyers with local shops. We don't make, sell or inspect the products and services listed, and we aren't a party to any deal between you and a shop. To the extent the law allows, we aren't responsible for the quality, safety or legality of what shops offer, or for losses arising from your dealings with a shop.
We work to keep ShopLook available and secure, but we can't promise it will always be free of interruptions or errors.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Delhi, India.
